1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to legal relationships formed through the Villampiac.hu online marketplace (hereinafter: Marketplace). The Marketplace is operated by Remény Farm Kft. (registered office: 3343 Bekölce, Szabadság utca 50., Hungary; tax number: 2667089-2-10; company registration number: 10-09-037306; hereinafter: Operator).

Independent producers and artisan businesses (hereinafter: Sellers) offer their products directly to buyers (hereinafter: Buyers) on the Marketplace.

2. Nature of Sales

Products ordered on the Marketplace are delivered exclusively through in-person pickup at pre-announced pickup points (within the REKO circle framework). The Marketplace does not engage in distance selling under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses, given that contract performance — delivery of goods — takes place in person.

Consequently, the 14-day unconditional right of withdrawal under the referenced government decree does not apply to transactions conducted on the Marketplace.

3. Defective Performance

Under Section 6:159 of the Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013), the Seller performs defectively if the product does not meet the quality requirements specified in the contract or by law at the time of delivery.

In case of defective performance, the Buyer may assert the following claims:

• Repair or replacement — provided it does not cause disproportionate additional cost to the Seller;
• Price reduction — if repair or replacement is not possible;
• Withdrawal from the contract — if repair or replacement is not possible, or the Seller has not undertaken it.

Warranty claims must be asserted against the Seller. The Buyer has the opportunity to immediately inspect the product at pickup; we recommend reporting any defects to the Seller at the pickup location, without delay.

4. Exchange

Product exchanges are possible at the Seller's discretion. The Seller will inform the Buyer of exchange conditions at the pickup location.

5. Perishable Food Products

A significant portion of products sold on the Marketplace are fresh, perishable food products. Given the nature and perishability of these products, returns and exchanges of such products are only possible in case of defective performance (e.g., the product is spoiled, damaged, does not match the description, or does not match the ordered quantity).

6. Complaint Handling

In case of a complaint, the Buyer may follow this procedure:

1. Direct contact with the Seller — the Seller's contact details can be found on the Marketplace, on the Seller's profile page. Product-related complaints should primarily be directed to the Seller, who bears full responsibility for the product.
2. Operator mediation — if an agreement cannot be reached with the Seller, the Buyer may contact the Operator at hello@villampiac.hu, who will act as a mediator in resolving the dispute.

7. Operator Liability

The Operator operates the Marketplace as an intermediary service platform under the Hungarian Act CVIII of 2001 on Certain Aspects of Electronic Commerce Services and Information Society Services.

The Operator does not qualify as the seller of individual products and assumes no liability for the quality, compliance, or the Sellers' fulfillment of their contractual obligations regarding the products they sell. Rights and obligations arising from the purchase contract between the Buyer and the Seller apply exclusively to the contracting parties.

The Operator, however, strives to cooperate only with reliable, verified Sellers and reserves the right to exclude Sellers who violate the Marketplace rules from the platform.

8. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

This policy is governed by Hungarian law. The Buyer may contact the conciliation body competent for their place of residence or stay regarding consumer disputes.
